Strategy to Improve Birth Outcomes (SIBO)
The Strategy to Improve Birth Outcomes
(SIBO) is the first of The Family League’s new and growing portfolio of Healthy Community Initiatives which will ultimately span a pipeline of investments in families and communities ranging from pregnancy and birth through school years and young adulthood. SIBO lays the foundation for this work by partnering with communities to mobilize around a significant public health issue – improving birth outcomes in a community – and increase demand for and utilization of eleven high-impact services in our city. To do this, The Family League is investing in a city wide communications campaign and in community based organizations (through this RFP) that will mobilize and connect residents in a community with appropriate care and services.
