Program Structure

Program Term
Participants are enrolled into the Family Recovery Program (FRP) for one year, commencing on
the date of original court referral.

A participant may be referred to the FRP to a new program term after a previous discharge if
they have a new or different child and meet the eligibility requirements.

  • FRP Court Hearings
  • FRP Court Hearings are generally held each Friday.

Drug Testing

Frequent urinalysis testing monitors abstinence. FRP requires witnessed, direct-observation collections. Participants undergo random and scheduled drug testing throughout their participation in the FRP. Participants must submit to the drug testing as required by their corresponding FRP track and/or recovery service plan.

FRP recovery service plans require parents to maintain safe, substance-free environments for their children. This allows the court to also request drug tests of other individuals in the participant’s household to assess compliance.
